Ho Kim (Korea), Chair-Elect 2023-2024, Chair 2024-2027, Past Chair 2027-2028
Ho Kim, Ph.D. is a Professor of Biostatistics at the Graduate School of Public Health, Seoul National University. He served as Director of the Institute for Sustainable Development and the BK21 Center for Integrative Response to Human Disasters, and President of the Korean Society of Climate Change Research. An ISEE Fellow, his research focuses on environmental epidemiology, particularly the health impacts of climate change, air pollution, and extreme weather. Dr. Kim leads international collaborations with WHO and regional networks to advance data-driven strategies for sustainable and climate-resilient health systems.

Surabhi Shah (Korea), Secretary/Treasurer 2024-2027
Dr. Surabhi Shah is a Research Professor at Dept. of Environmental Medicine, Ewha Womans University, Seoul, South Korea, specializing in environmental health. and chronic diseases. Her research focuses on the impacts of climate and environmental exposures on child and adult health outcomes. An active member of ISEE since 2019, she currently serves as the Secretary/Treasurer of the ISEE Asia and Western Pacific Chapter, supporting chapter administration, finances, and member engagement. Dr. Shah is dedicated to promoting collaboration, capacity building, and knowledge exchange in environmental epidemiology across the Asia-Pacific region.

Julie Shu-Li Wang (Taiwan), Chair-Elect 2020-2021, Chair 2021-2024, Past Chair 2024-2025
Shu-Li (Julie) Wang has been focusing on understanding, preventing, and treating significant diseases influenced by environmental factors. Her work particularly emphasizes health policies for vulnerable populations, including women and children, for the effects of allergies, obesity, neurocognitive and mental disorders, cardiovascular diseases, and cancers. Shu-Li coordinates and supports research across various medical institutions, notably by establishing the Taiwan Maternal and Infant Cohort Study (TMICS). Julie chaired the Asian and Western Pacific Charter from 2021 to 2024. She dedicates herself to promoting information exchange and international cooperation through the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology (ISEE). She also contributed to developing health policies addressing phthalate plasticizers, metal contamination, and air pollution control regulations. *Recent Honors include: - 2024 Outstanding Academic Achievement Award, National Health Research Institutes (NHRI), Taiwan - 2022 Outstanding Fellowship Award, International Society for Environmental Epidemiology (ISEE)

Bing-Fang Hwang (Taiwan), Educational Committee, June 2022- June 2026
Bing-Fang Hwang (PhD) is Professor of the Department of Occupational Safety and Health and Dean of the College of Public Health at China Medical University, Taiwan. An epidemiologist trained in environmental and occupational medicine, he earned his PhD in Epidemiology from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. His research centers on air pollution, pregnancy outcomes, children's health, asthma, and gene–environment interactions.

Jinyoung Moon (Korea), Educational Committee, June 2023-June 2026
Jinyoung Moon (MD, MSc, MBA, PhD) is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Department of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, Myongji Hospital, Hanyang University College of Medicine, South Korea. As a board-certified medical doctor in occupational and environmental medicine from South Korea, he studied medicine at Korea University and got his PhD in public health from Seoul National University. He works as a clinical assistant professor in Myongji Hospital, Hanyang University College of Medicine.

John S. Ji is an Associate Professor at Tsinghua University's Vanke School of Public Health, and on sabattical (2025) as Senior Technical Officer at the World Health Organization Asia Center for the Environment and Health. John earned his B.A. in Neuroscience from Johns Hopkins University in 2008, his Sc.M. in Epidemiology, and his Sc.D. in Environmental Health from the Harvard School of Public Health in 2013. John was elected as a councilor for the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology (ISEE) Asia Chapter. He serves as an Associate Editor for The BMJ. He organized The Lancet Series on Climate Change and Health Adaptation in the Western Pacific.

Nur Sabrina Idrose (Australia), Communications Committee, June 2023-June 2026
Dr. Nur Sabrina Idrose (BBioMed, MSc, PhD) is a Centre for Safe Air Postdoctoral Research Fellow based at the Allergy and Lung Health Unit, University of Melbourne, Australia. Her research focuses on risk factors for allergic diseases and cardio-respiratory health, with a particular emphasis on aeroallergens. Sabrina is a Councillor of the ISEE Asia-Western Pacific Chapter and was a Steering Committee member of the ISEE Students and New Researchers' Network (2023-25).

Zulkhairul Naim Sidek Ahmad (Malaysia), Conference Committee, June 2025-June 2028
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zulkhairul Naim Sidek Ahmad is an Associate Professor of Global and Planetary Health and Head of Medical Education at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universiti Malaysia Sabah, Malaysia. His work bridges medical education, implementation science, and environmental health, focusing on climate resilience, One Health, and community-based learning in Southeast Asia. He leads several transdisciplinary initiatives, including the International Borneo One Health Summer Camp and cross-border planetary health education projects across Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines. His current interests revolve around empowering future health professionals to address global environmental health and sustainability challenges.

Kayo Ueda (Japan), Communications Committee, June 2023-June 2027
Dr. Kayo Ueda is Professor in Graduate School of Medicine in Hokkaido University, Japan. She has specialized in the field of public health and environmental epidemiology after having clinical experiences as a physician. Her works are to characterize human health risks from atmospheric environment including air pollution and climate change. She has also been involved with multi-disciplinary research projects in Asia and Japan.
